Hydratech, Inc. opened for business on April 24, 1987 with the intention of servicing the sealing needs of the oil industry and oil and gas service companies as well as local, state and federal agencies. In 1988 the company evolved into the valve actuator sales and repair business, a division that complemented the seal aspect of the company.
In 1989, with a little luck and a great deal of determination and hard work, Hydratech was able to expand its services and enter into federal government contracts for handling, repairs and ship topside painting.
Lessons learned from the oil crunch of the 1970's and 1980's taught a resilient company that diversification was crucial for survival and growth. Hydratech stood ready to provide the same reliable quality service that has been its hallmark for over 36 years.
